Sponsorship

Project Employ is looking for corporate sponsorship and seed funding to establish the first training cafe; be part of something that will grow into a significant movement.

Corporate sponsorship works two ways. While supporting young people with disabilities to enter the workforce will most likely transform their lives, we will ensure that sponsorship of Project Employ will have significant benefits to your organisation as well.

For each of these sponsorship packages your company would receive a set level of public recognition in the forms of;

  • Visual exposure within the Project Employ cafe, which will see approximately hundreds of local workers and residents going through the lobby cafe each day.

  • Recognition on Project Employ’s website, social media, and regular newsletter.

  • Access to our networks of local business and the extensive disability communities within New Zealand.

Alternatively you are welcome to suggest your own unique proposal or offering, and we can establish the recognition and opportunities that we would be able to provide together.

There are a number of sponsorship packages available

  • $2000 pays the hire of our point of sale machine in the cafe for a year, our trainees will use this in their training programmes.
  • $3500 takes care of the cafe lease for a month, the cafe is the authentic workplace to enable our trainees to engage with the public and the local business community
  • $4000 pays the salary of a job coach for a month, working directly with the trainees preparing them for paid work in the community. All our job coaches will have prior, relevant experience.
  • $9000 pays for a month of coffee beans, cafe food, baking ingredients, take away cups, napkins etc, all the things we need to keep our customers happy.
  • $25000 pays for a whopping 6 months of job coaching for trainees, this could be either in the cafe, or in the workplace when they nail their first job.

We all want to contribute to society, we all want to make it a better, fairer and more equitable place to live. Businesses and organisations are now, more than ever, seeking out opportunities where they can make a difference in the lives of others.

Partnering with a charity ‘doing good work’ is always a great option, but knowing you have helped get one off the ground, one that is transforming the lives of young adults with disabilities? Well, there are some that would say this is priceless! We all know the value of work, the value of belonging and being able to contribute. It elevates our self-worth, it increases our ability to participate, gives us a purpose and helps us to generally feel good about ourselves. Imagine meeting someone for the first time and being asked what you do, and having to say you don’t have a job. We’ll leave that one there…..
