Training Programme

At Flourish, our training café, Project Employ trainees will be supported to develop transferable employability skills needed to gain and maintain paid employment such as:

These soft skills will underpin all the practical tasks that trainees complete during their regular work experience shifts in the training café. Job Coaches will walk alongside the trainees throughout their Project Employ journey - modelling, guiding, and encouraging as they learn, develop and master the tasks.

Trainees will gain experience working in all areas of the café, including:

  • Customer service

  • Point of sale

  • Front of house

  • Clearing/cleaning tables

  • Replenishing stock

  • Food preparation

  • Dishwasher

  • Health and safety
