Air New Zealand Partnership
Project Employ trainees have been supported to become work ready in our Takapuna-based training cafe since 2022. But as of November 2023, thanks to a very exciting partnership with Air New Zealand, we now have two Flourish Café locations for neurodiverse young adults to develop their hospitality and employability skills in.
Having a training café in Auckland CBD means potential trainees who find going over the bridge an extra barrier to employment, will now have an alternative place to train and become work ready.
There is no better way to break down barriers between the different sectors of society than through natural and regular interactions. We have seen barriers being broken down and relationships being built through our this partnership with Air New Zealand.
Thank you, Air New Zealand, for this amazing opportunity and for welcoming us so warmly into your whānau.
“Since launching at Air New Zealand’s Auckland city office in December 2023, Flourish Café has been hugely successful. More than just a spot to grab a coffee, our people love connecting with the Project Employ team and seeing them thrive in their roles. The Flourish employees are gaining valuable training and work experience at the café, delivering exceptional services and product while they’re at it. We’re proud to support Project Employ and look forward to seeing the team continue to grow.”
